When I was joining the business world for the very first time at  age 42 no one would hire me. Tom Peters in a very memorable way gave me encouragement. Not directly but through the cover article "The Brand Called You" he wrote for Fast Comany (August-September Issue, 1997). It is still a "read" I recommend to everyone. Now I can send people to the AOL coaches as well!

I wonder how much they paid him to smile? I haven't seen any other pictures of him smiling, at least not in the last 10 years! :)</description>
