I’m taking some time off.
Blogging has become a weekly chore. Not because I don’t like to write. I think it’s because I don’t like WHAT I write.
I need some space to rethink what I’m doing here.
Two things I know:
1. I don’t like blogging in a vacuum. I want to encourage readers to participate in the conversation. I get decent traffic to the blog, but few comments.
2. I want to develop community. I don’t think the formatting of my blog encourages that. It’s more like a soap box than a club. I want that to change.
So, I’m taking off the month of November.
Return in December for an update. Thanks for your patience.
Dustin,
We will be here and ready for the conversation when you get back!
Thanks Chris. I’m excited about bringing a FRESH perspective to things when I return.
I’m with Chris.
Will be here too.
This rethinking bug must be contagious. I suspect I just caught it from you.
By the way, have you been following the Saturn “Rethink” campaign?
Keep creating…fresh,
Mike
Am feeling terribly guilty. I look at your blog at least once a week and always get inspiration and a different perspective. But have I ever commented? No.
So, rethink for sure, but don’t disappear……
I’ll be here when you get back. If you need inspiration from a story about bad customer experience, look at my post about a senior picnic and Wendy’s. It may not be as bad as some of the stuff from that ice cream parlor from SnapThoughts, but it’s inspiring… possibly.

Thanks Nick. We’re such a family of encouragers, aren’t we?
