Mike,

The new Taurus ads look like Ford is looking for that model to turn things upside-down again. I sat up and took notice, even though I am not a big fan of Ford vehicles.

McKee's 2nd point is the one that stood out to me. I've often remarked how much I dislike the ads that act like the brand is the rock star (i.e. people lining outside the door as if they're waiting for a concert). I just never had the terminology for it. "Boorish" is the perfect term. I will be stealing that one.

Thanks for the comments Mike. I much prefer dialogue over monologue. :)

I can really relate to the Taurus illustration. I owned a first edition wagon. A friend of mine thought them ugly and unlikely to "catch on".

Different for the right reason attracts while growing one's biz.

Keep creating...powerful difference,
Mike
