For personal reasons, my blogging has been fairly light lately. So, I’d like to throw in an occasional non-Friday post.
Antony Van Couvering at Names@Work points out the inconsistent messages given between AT&T’s billboard and their website.
Do you still wonder why people don’t put much stock in what you say in YOUR advertising?
Sadly, two-faced advertisers [...]

Free Kawasaki with Every RSS Feed

In: Blogging

I couldn’t wait until Friday to tell you Guy Kawasaki has started a blog.
My favorite so far is Guy’s Golden Touch.
Now, if only I could convince Kevin Carroll to start blogging…

A Flash of the Gatekeeper’s Sword

In: Society, Technology

…this isn’t about having/not having a tiered Internet. It already is tiered. This is a battle over whether or not we have an OPEN Internet. The Ed Whitacre’s of the industry want it to be a RESTRICTED Internet. A restricted Internet where they not only hold the keys, but where they’re free to swing thier swords as well.

If you’re curious what’s going on with your TypePad account or if you’ve noticed some of your favorite blogs are a week behind, here’s a clue:

Not “This Week In Baseball” but “This Week In Blogs.”

No Casual Friday Next Week

In: Blogging

Next week, my wife and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Between the blog and her, she wins – hands down. So, no blue jeans and t-shirt next week as Casual Friday is cancelled.
Don’t fret, it shall return after Labor Day. Sunburn and all.

This cnn.com article reports that 94% of websites show a masculine orientation while only 2% show [...]

OK, I’ll admit that I’m an Apple fan. Having a background in graphics, I have been hooked on Apple products since I was introduced to them in college. I’m used to hearing how the sky is falling and Apple is hanging on by a thread. That’s why I’m so happy to see [...]
