The #1 search term that brings people to this blog isn’t “branding” or “marketing.” Almost 3 times more popular than the #2 search term (casual fridays) is “dentyne-ism.”
I’ve never blogged about Dentyne or their Dentyne-isms. Paughnee Moore made a comment about them on my Talking Sauce post.
The interesting thing isn’t that I’m the top result for “dentyne-ism” (today anyway). What’s interesting is who isn’t at the top. In fact, Dentyne’s website doesn’t even register on the online search for “dentyne-ism.” They do mention Dentyne-isms, but it’s imbedded in Flash. Looks great, but how does that help them? How does it help their customers?
I’m not an advocate that says every business should blog, but in my opinion this is a no brainer for Dentyne.
