A simple way to encourage creativity in the workplace is to give employees a sense of freedom. Involve them in goal-setting. Give them freedom in how they accomplish those goals. Allow them to have choices in where, when, and with whom they work.

In other words, trust your people. If you can’t do that, you either hired the wrong people or you’re in the wrong place.
