Or a writer?
A dancer?
A painter?
A vocalist?

When do you BECOME this title?
Do you have to be paid first? There are plenty of artists who never get paid for their work. What would you call them?

You’re an artists when you create art.
You’re a dancer when you dance.
You’re a writer when you write.

Doing it daily isn’t necessary, but it will help you claim that identity.
